Gerard Stembridge is a writer and director of theatre, radio, TV and film. Before his professional career, he directed a Temple Players production of 'Long Day's Journey into Night' which reached the 1983 Athlone Finals. He also played Private Gar when the same group won the All-Ireland in 1984 with 'Philadelphia Here I Come'. He has adjudicated festivals in Rush, Gorey, Kilmuckridge, Cavan, Ballyduff, Rathangan and is delighted to return to Tubbercurry this year.
